Oft him anhaga are gebideð metudes miltse þeahþe

he mod cearig geond lagu lade longe sceolde hreran

mid hondum hrim cealde sæ wadan wræclastas wyrd

bið ful aræd. Swa cwæð eard stapa, earfeþa gemyndig
